NCOA stands for National Change of Address and is a special database that has the most up-to-date address info for people across Canada. We use this to check audience lists provided to us to ensure that addresses are correct and that people still live in the locations you are providing. This also removes people that may be deceased or moved out of your trade area.
We use this to remove bad names & addresses or to correct poorly formatted addresses to ensure delivery.
The induction date is the date that PostNow delivers your campaign to a Canada Post sorting facility. After we induct your campaign, the delivery time to your audience will depend on the Canada Post Smartmail Marketing delivery standards.
Please contact us for information on delivery standards for your specific mail type and location.
From order to delivery can be as quick as eight business days for a Neighbourhood Mail campaign.
Once your campaign is inducted to a Canada Post facility, you can expect your campaign to be delivered based on the current Smartmail Marketing delivery standards. This information is found on pages 3-5 here – Canada Post Smartmail Marketing Delivery Standards.
Due to the complexity of determining when your campaign can reach homes, please feel free to contact our team for more details on your particular campaign.
You can send direct mail campaigns to essentially any household or business address in Canada. Since we have access to all the addresses that Canada Post can deliver to, the only people that can not be targeted are those that have added themselves to the “Do Not Mail” list for Canada Post.
You can target by individuals (with your own data only), or you can target by full postal code (ie. T6B 2M2) or by Neighbourhood Walk (average 300-500 households).
We pre-authorize your credit card for the campaign total in order to confirm your campaign. Your payment is then processed before your campaign goes to print, but not before your design, data & quantity are finalized.
